To Register
To register for a Teacher Workshop, please copy and complete the following Tax Invoice (unless indicated otherwise) and forward a copy of it, together with your cheque, to the address shown on the invoice. Alternatively, you may pay by credit card by adding your card number, cardholder's name, and expiry date to the invoice.
All workshops are subject to minimum and maximum numbers of participants. Places are allocated in order of receipt of registration. Registrations that can be accepted will typically be confirmed by return email. In the event that a workshop is already filled or is cancelled, you will be informed prior to the scheduled date and your payment will be returned. (When a workshop fills, this will be indicated below.)
Due to the time and expenditure involved in preparing for these workshops, bookings need to be binding. However, they are transferable to another person. Where a registered person cannot attend, a "stand-by" participant might therefore fill the reserved place.
Teacher Workshops, Term 4, 2007
- The Nature of Science, Science and Mathematics Education Centre (SMEC), Curtin University of Technology, Perth, WA, Tuesday November 13, 9.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. Cost $175, plus $17.50 GST, per participant. Please provide for own lunch. Registrations due by October 19, please.
- Great Ideas for Teaching Science (Primary and Junior Science), Science and Mathematics Education Centre (SMEC), Curtin University of Technology, Perth, WA, Wednesday November 14, 9.00 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. Cost $120, plus $12 GST, per participant. Please provide for own lunch. Registrations due by October 19, please (although, given the unique nature of this workshop, early registration will help with preparation and be very much appreciated). Following registration, the Facilitator will liase with presenters in planning the workshop.
